Offsider is a list management app. Your data stays on your device. We do not run servers, create user accounts, or collect personal information.
All lists, items, and field values you create are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it. On iOS, your data syncs across your own Apple devices via iCloud — this is controlled entirely by Apple and your iCloud account settings.
Offsider requests camera access only for barcode and QR code scanning. The camera feed is processed entirely on-device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.
When you scan a product barcode, Offsider may query the Open Food Facts API (openfoodfacts.org) to look up a product name, or the Open Library API (openlibrary.org) to look up a book title by ISBN. These are free public databases. The only information sent is the barcode number itself. No personal information is transmitted.
If you enable reminders on a list, Offsider schedules local notifications on your device. Notification data is not transmitted anywhere.
Premium purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We receive confirmation that a purchase was made but no payment details. Apple's and Google's privacy policies govern the purchase transaction.
Offsider does not use advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or any third-party tracking. We do not sell, share, or monetise your data in any way.
Offsider does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
